MEGA SARDINES: Celebrated First Ever National Sardines Day

MEGA SARDINES marks its first ever National Sardines Day celebration earlier today, November 24, 2019 at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia.
The star studded event includes the yummylicious Papa Piolo Pascual, everybody's favorite bida-kontrabida "Daniela Mondragon" Dimples Romana and internet sensation Mimiyuuuh! ❤️
It was a full packed one whole day affair that started as early as 10 a. m. and would last until until the mall's closing time.
Filipinos from near or far places had the time of their lives when they were treated to a virtual tour on how Mega Sardines, the country's leading manufacturer of sardines in the country today catches their produce down to how they use fish pump instead of the yucky "pala" we used to hear from other Sardines manufacturers.
Everyone were given a chance to participate in the raffle draw and win Mega Sardines goodies. Some families even stayed the whole day. Yes, even after they watched the testimonials given by Mimiyuuuh, Dimples and Papa P.
Mega Sardines hunting, catching and canning practices is one for the books. I was able to interview the main man behind it all.  The company's founder William Tiu-Lim.
The author (Cha Sy) together with Mega Global's William Tiu-Lim
Mega Global started its operations in 1995 and then opened its first canning plant in 1998. Mega Global's canning plant is located in Talisayan, Zamboanga City.
"Mega started around year 2000 but we've been supplying fish to different Sardines canning corporations for at least 45 years," said Mr. Tiu-Lim the company's top honcho.
"We're currently the number one Sardines manufacturer in the country today and we're happy to announce that we're expanding globally to make sure the world knows that the Philippines manufactures the best Sardines in the world," added Mr. William Tiu-Lim.
The people behind Mega Global made sure that every Mega Sardines produce that make it to every Filipino's table passes its topnotch quality assurance and within their 12 hour timeline. Yes, your favorite Mega Sardines always uses only topnotch quality fishes.
A virtual ship was built at the Sm Moa music hall so everybody got to experience virtually the moment Mega's "barko" catches the fishes down to the time it was sealed in a can.
It was truly a fun fun day for everyone who visited the different booths of Mega Sardines.
Isang araw na puno ng kasiyahan ang handa sa inyo ng Mega Sardines ngayong National Sardines Day! Habol habol, mga Ka-Mega!
