FUDA HOSPITAL: Offers New Hope for Cancer Patients

FUDA HOSPITAL: Offers New Hope for Cancer Patients

It is a brand new day! With a new day comes a new ray of hope! Fuda Hospital in Guangzhou offers new hope and treatments for cancer patients. These treatments could possibly prolong life expectancy from two (2) months to twenty (20) years depending on the type of cancer.

Of course you have to manage your expectations. Get real okay?  People at the last stage of cancer might not make it successfully.  Especially those with cancers that are fast and furious. Meaning, cancers that spreads fast and are fatal. Have you ever wonder why your next of kin died from another type of illness than their original type of cancer? That is because there are dozens of cancers, all of them share two characteristics: uncontrolled cell growth and an ability to spread to other areas of the body (metastasis), which becomes the cause of death.

The Fuda Cancer Hospital has brought in and adapted new techniques, combining them with traditional Chinese and Western medicines and drug delivery methods.

At Fuda, the use of minimally invasive ablation and biological methods is prioritized.  Unlike conventional therapies that can damage both cancerous and healthy tissues, Fuda Hospital offers cryotheraphy, said to be a targeted treatment that focus solely on cancer-related molecules.

The International Society of Cryosurgery recognized Fuda Cancer Hospital as a cryotheraphy center in the whole of Asia Pacific region.

Also called cryoablation and cryosurgical ablation, cryosurgery involves the surgical use of an extremely cold substance to freeze malignant tumor cells, thereby destroying them. The surgical technique has anti-cancer applications internally:
  • Argon gas or liquid nitrogen freezes a probe, which in turn can freeze the cells of a tumor without doing much damage to the surrounding tissue and externally, for skin lesions and other tumors.
Cryosurgery is said to be a less expensive and less invasive alternative to traditional surgery, and its recovery time tends to be shorter.

Cryosurgery has multiple applications in cancer treatment. According to the National Cancer Institute1, cryosurgery can be used for cancers of the prostate, liver, kidney and breast, as well as various skin conditions (both precancerous growths and early-stage cancers).

Cryosurgery has also shown efficacy against very specific cancers, including the childhood cancer retinoblastoma and the AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma.

Fuda Cancer Hospital also features tailor-made individualized cancer treatments. It is famous for its CCC Treatment Model: the first C stands for cryosurgical ablation (CSA); the second C stands for cancer microvascular intervention (CMI); and the third C is for combined immunotherapy for cancer (CIC).
In recent years, more and more Filipino patients have been admitted to Fuda Hospital. That is why Fuda has now the whole fifth floor and ward dedicated to Filipino patients with the Filipino channel (TFC) in every room to boot. This was made possible by Fuda hospital so as to make its Filipino patients happy. They're now assured that they'll not lose track of their favorite teleserye and other local shows that they love.

Note of advise: If you or your loved ones opted to avail of Fuda Hospital treatments you must carefully ask the doctor/ doctors about the pros and cons of each of the treatments. You must be aware that there's a lot of unexpected outcome after every treatment.  You have to ask them "every single detail" film them if possible.

Yes, I strictly recommend that you and your family members ask the Fuda medical doctors and staff to provide you with detailed information and step by step procedure in every step of the way for your patients and families to avoid confusion and wrong expectations.

There could be HOPE to at least control this disease if not a cure! Let's all hope and pray this works.

Remember: Nothing in life and little in medicine is entirely free of risk.  Don't lose hope continue to fight and live life to the fullest. Ask God's help. After all HE is in control of everything. I believe that God, as the giver of life is the one who would grant you the perfect healing.
