LESTER PIMENTEL: Richard Yap's Restaurant Partner is Bagani's Director

Lester Pimentel Ong is one of the directors of the hit TV series "Bagani".  We had a  tête-à-tête with Direk Lester the other day and we were really impressed with how he came about.

He's the 1995 Third Wushu World Champion gold medalist.  An expert not only in Wushu but also in different martial arts practices.  He uses his martial arts skills to teach the art of fighting in TV and movies. 

He started out as a fight coordinator in a small movie called `Ex-con' several years ago.  Well, if you think that's all he is, you're wrong!  He is also a restaurateur. He co-owns "Wang Fu", "Luna J" and "Rice in a Box". A loving husband and father.

He idolizes Yuen Woo Ping,  a Chinese martial arts choreographer and film director, renowned as one of the most successful and influential figures in the world of Hong Kong action cinema. He is a the action director for movies like "The Matrix."

Some people rest on their laurels, not Lester.  He honed his craft and even studied film.  He is really an achiever.
