Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban stars in Star Cinema’s maiden offering for 2018, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” which opens tomorrow. Star Cinema joined forces with Quantum Films and The IdeaFirst Company in bringing to the big screen the film by Jun Robles Lana (“Die Beautiful”).
Both Juday and Angel expressed excitement over being teamed up for the first time in a movie, especially in this laugh-out-loud dramedy. This is also Juday’s comeback to mainstream cinema, after “Kusina,” shown at the 12th Cinemalaya Film Festival in 2016. Angelica also returns to the big screen after winning the FAMAS Best Actress award recently for her performance in “The Unmarried Wife.”
Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” is a story about infidelity, realizations, inner strength and how a woman should embrace changes. I think the story is very relatable because I know some women who went through a lot and discovered and was surprise with themselves on the great lengths they are willing to go through for love.
Playing leading men to them in the movie are Joross Gamboa and JC de Vera who both said they love their respective roles as married gay men.

In the movie, Juday plays the role of a very busy career woman. She is a very successful doctor in the movie who hardly had time for her husband. She has a very strong character but who is willing to forgive his philandering husband because she believes it takes two to tango and know that she has her share of faults.
Angel on the other hand is someone who gave up everything to satisfy her husband. I find it funny when Angel shared that she is like "Cindy" in a way because she did everything to satisfy her partner pero waley pa rin nangyari iniwan pa rin daw siya. She confessed wearing a bunny suit and buying a foot spa machine just so her bf would be loyal to her.
Yeah totally opposite silang dalawa in the movie dahil yun isa is pabaya sa asawa yun isa sobra sobrang maasikaso sa asawa pero pareho pa rin silang pinagpalit ng kani kanilang asawa. One is a successful career woman while the other is a homemaker. The only similarity between them is their strong desire to win back the love of their respective husbands.
