Michelle and her Cash Band with her all Filipino back up dancers wowed the audience composed mainly of traditional writers and online media bloggers, plus her family, showbiz and non-showbiz friends. Michelle's Malaysian producers and song composer/s and her make-up artists friends were also in full support last night all the way from Malaysia.
One of the highlights of last night's event was the duet between mother and daughter of the song "Ikaw". You could feel the love that radiates between the parent and the child. Her grandma who's also present last night was beaming with pride. Her Dad and sister was also very supportive.
Michelle Ayalde is a former Star Magic talent who recorded the memorable Tagalized version of Meteor Garden's 'The Love You Want' (adaptation of Ni Yao De Ai). Yes! That's the F4, Dao Ming Si & Shan Chai's craze! She's also the voice behind the original theme song of Wansapanataym.
With her singing talent and looks plus her sunny disposition, I know that someday soon, Michelle will be famous not only in Penang, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries but also in her home country- the Philippines.
