MR AND MISS CHINATOWN PHILIPPINES 2016

Thirty young and talented Chinese-Filipino men and women vying for Mr. and Miss Chinatown Philippines 2016 were formally presented last June 30, 2016 at the Ramada Manila Central Hotel in Ongpin, Manila.

The official female candidates are the following:

Calendar of activities leading to the main event which happens in a month’s time, Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines 2016 will have a Talent Competition on July 10 at The Lucky Chinatown Mall where select candidates will be showcasing their creative takes on personal skills.

There will also be a Cultural Costume Competition on July 17 at Eastwood Central Plaza, to flaunt the fusion of traditional and modern Chinese-Filipino through colorful ensembles.

And last but not the least, a Swimsuit Competition x Fashion Show on July 20 at the Chaos, City of Dreams Manila.

Mr. and Miss Chinatown Philippines 2016 is presented by Fil-Chi Media Productions Incorporated (Chinoy TV), Miss Chinatown Foundation and co-presented by Oriental Group and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated. Finals night is scheduled on July 31 at the Resorts World Manila to be telecast on Aug. 7 after Gandang Gabi Vice under the direction of Paolo Valenciano. The winners will receive P500,000 worth of prizes.

Fil-Chi Media Productions Incorporated is the company behind the premier Chinese-Filipino lifestyle magazine show, Chinoy TV. Hosted by Chris Tiu, Willord Chua and Valerie Tan, it airs Sundays from 10 to 11 a.m. on Living Asia Channel and PTV4.


Present during the event were Alvin Kingson Tan, president of Fil-Chi Media Productions, and Alexis Sy Go, pageant national director.
