Kilala si Ping Lacson na isang taong may prinsipyo at paninindigan. Hindi kaila sa lahat ang ginawa niyang expose' tungkol sa "Pork Barrel" at ang kanyang pagtanggi sa pagtanggap ng "Pork Barrel" simula ng siya ay manilbihan sa bayan bilang senador ng mamayan Pilipino.
Nagustuhan ko rin sa kanya ang kanyang pag disiplina sa kapulisan noon siya pa ang Director-General of the Philippine National Police simula 1999 to 2001 bago pa siya naihalal bilang isang senador. Senate lalong lalo na ang pag require niya ng maliit na baywang para sa mga naglalakihan tiyan ng kapulisan. Di ba pomogi ang ating mga kapulisan at nagkaroon ng disiplina.
