I wonder what kind of grandfather is Pampilo Lacson?

In one of our tête-à-tête, my friend and I had Panfilo "Ping" Lacson as our subject. We all know that Ping is a very hard working former policeman, senator and rehabilitation czar.

Maybe just like me you're also wondering how he is as a grandfather, right?

According to some write ups, Lacson, though very strict and a known disciplinarian, is not all work. He is a deeply involved family man. He loves his wife Alice and children Ronald Jay, Panfilo Jr. and Jeric very much. As a doting grandfather, he loves his grandchildren even more.

As one of the politicians who has the characteristics of what kind of president we need in this country, I would love to spend a day with grandfather Ping and his grandchildren.

It is an open secret that the former senator's son Pampi has two children from two different partners. Pampi's eldest son is Thirdy (with Jodie Sta. Maria - the very popular "Maya" among Filipino households in "Be Careful With My Heart" and now "Amor Powers" in "Pangako Sa'Yo") and Eve (with Iwa Moto).

Do they play together?  

Does he give his grandchildren piggy back rides?

Do they sing together?

Do they eat at Jollibee?

Do they pray together?

Do his grandchildren hug and kiss him or do they make mano?

Ping is a disciplinarian who is willing to go within the judicial process.

Just like you, I also admire Pamfilo Lacson's seriousness of mind, honesty of heart and strong conviction.  He is a complete package.
