Kakambal ni Eliana Star Celebrated Birthday at Avilon Zoo

Last Tuesday, August 13, 2013, a day before her 19th birthday, Kakambal ni Eliana lead star Kim Rodriguez, were given a surprise birthday party by GMA Artist Center together with some member of the press and her very supportive fans at Avilon Zoo. Her actual birthday is August 14.   

Kim Rodriguez is Kim Jerami Empasis Rebadulla in real life. She used to be known as Kim Komatsu in 2010 when she was just starting in showbiz before she finally came up with her showbiz screen name Kim Rodriguez . 

In showbizlandia, she was known for her role as Angel in Tween Hearts and Lourdes in Sinner or Saint and the most recent is as Eliana.

This pretty lady is one brave soul. I couldn't imagine myself holding all those animals when I was her age. 

Kim's first lead role in GMA afternoon series KAKAMBAL NI ELIANA together with Enzo Pineda, Lexi Fernandez and Kristofer Martin were a big hit with televiewers. The show is down to its final weeks but Kim said that she will forever cherish her experience with Kakambal Ni Eliana.

She mentioned that she misses Naja. Naja is her twin snake in the Kakambal ni Eliana. When asked if she was really that comfortable with snakes from the start. She confesses that she used to fear snakes but it disappeared because of the show Kakambal ni Eliana.  Yes, folks, your idol Kim is thinking of having a pet snake at her home soon.

Kim was led to believe that she was going to attend a pocket interview but instead went on a grand tour at Ark Avilon Zoo together with fans, family and friends. You could actually see the happiness that radiates from Kim that day.

She tirelessly played with an eagle, love birds, snake, and had a blast playing with the very friendly bear cat,  guinea pigs, she even fed the biggest fresh water carnivorous fish in the world called pirarucu (Arapaima gigas), also called arapaima or paiche, with chicken meat. Kim quips that this is her first time to celebrate her birthday inside a Zoo.

Kim's gift to herself is a brand new White Mitsubishi Montero.  Kim Rodriguez shared that it is the fruit of all her past projects and would be projects with GMA 7 because she got the car through financing that is why she needs to work harder because she has to pay her prized gift for herself in the years to come.

She also wishes to see her dad on her birthday. Kim also talked about her taping for "Magpakailanman" where she played Jenny, the daughter of Gloria Garrido.  Directed by Gina Alajar.

Kim also shared that she'll be doing two (2) Indie films. And she is close to Enzo Pineda's mom.

Kim is also very grateful to GMA 7 for all the opportunities and TV shows they entrust to her.
