TUHOG IN CINEMAS ON JULY 17, 2013
"TUHOG" (skewer).  In the Filipino language, tuhog connotes different meanings. The word Tuhog could mean to fasten or pierce with or as if with a skewer. It could refer to a particular person victimizing two related individuals. But in the case of this upcoming movie offering "Tuhog" literally means Skewers. Yes, as in barbecue skewers. Three characters were pinned together by a piece of metal because of a freak accident accident.
Live your life to the fullest. You never know when you will leave this world. Living life to the fullest is the primary message of this upcoming film offering by Star Cinema/Skylight Films this year. Set to be shown in theaters nationwide this coming July 17, 2013! 
The film stars Eugene Domingo, Enchong Dee, Leo Martinez, Jake Cuenca, Empress Karen Carreon Schuck.

The film gives the viewers an intriguing dilemma as to who among the three main characters deserves to live?

Fiesta, a bus barker whose life revolves around taking care of her demented father.


Tonio, a retired old man who after getting past his prime and being a refuge to his family, now wants to fulfill his shrugged off dream of becoming a baker.

Caloy, a young man preserving his virginity for his girlfriend.

Cinemalaya award-winning director Veronica Velasco (Last Supper #3, Inang Yaya) directed the film. She was very detailed and efficient that she personally drew the storyboard herself. It only took them 21 days to finished the film.

Tuhog is set to be released on July 17, 2013.
