GAMEDAY WEEKEND MEANS “DO: MORE”

GAMEDAY WEEKEND MEANS “DO: MORE”

We were able to witness the unveiling of the new lifestyle oriented magazine format sports program - The Gameday Weekend. Balls Channel is bringing a whole new philosophy for athletes, enthusiasts and fans alike. With the new show “Gameday Weekend” on the way, hosts Gretchen Ho and Mia Cabalfin are about to let viewers in on how to “DO: MORE” beginning Saturday, June 29.

Gretchen, a former womens’ volleyball Ateneo Lady Eagle, is one of the most popular Filipina volleyball players on social media, with over 150,000 followers on her Twitter account alone.

Mia is no stranger to the world of sports either. A veteran host and producer of several shows on Balls Channel and Studio 23, she has also made appearances on News Central, The UFL Show, Touchline, Sports TV and Gameday with Boom Gonzales.

“Gameday Weekend” is a spin off from Boom Gonzales' "Gameday" aired weekdays on Balls which mostly delivers sports news. "Gameday Weekend" on the other hand is a lifestyle-oriented sports show held in partnership with Rexona that is built for the weekend warriors, with segments ranging all the way from prominent athletes’ achievements, interviews with fitness experts, features on the latest sports gear—all serving as examples of doing more with the right amount of confidence.

Get a glimpse into how people in the world of sports choose to do more than what their own sports entail. To add to that, the show gives you more with surprise co-hosts from the Philippine Azkals every week.

Don’t miss out on the first episode of “Gameday Weekend”, airing at 5;30 p.m. on Saturday (June 29) and on Balls Channel (SkyCable channel 34) and on Studio 23 at 9:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
