Buddha-Bar Manila lived up to its global
brand’s reputation as one glamorous hot spot when it played host last May 3 to
the launch of “Sartorial Night” which featured the latest collection of fashion
designer Frederick Peralta dubbed as “Moda 2013.” Mannequins from the
Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) donned the fashion
guru’s brilliant creations. TV host-model Phoemela Baranda hosted the event.
“Sartorial Night” is Buddha-Bar Manila’s
newest attraction which is intended to become a weekend habit and a sort of
tradition. Every Friday night, guests are encouraged to dress up and party with
glam, and in a manner of speaking, get elegantly wasted. On Sartorial Nights at
Buddha-Bar Manila, special treats like complimentary cocktails depending on
particular theme await.
The aforementioned May 3 launch of
“Sartorial Night” also paved way for celebrity spottings, with popular
personalities and former fashion muses like Tweetie de Leon, Apples Aberin, and
Patty Betita, headturner host-actress G. Tongi and the 2013 Miss Earth
Candidates adding star wattage to the auspicious occasion.
Frederick Peralta is, of course, among the
legends in the field of fashion, being the first Filipino designer to win two
awards in international fashion tilts, namely the Asean Design Competition held
in Singapore in 1990 and the Internacional Concour des Jeunes Creatuer de Mode
in 1994 in Paris.
From his humble beginnings as a
pattern-making student of the late Pempet Mortera, a well-known fashion
illustrator and teacher in the ‘80s, Peralta has evolved into a coveted couture
and wedding gowns designer and as of late, a designer of home accessories and
wedding cakes.
It was only fitting that Peralta and
Buddha-Bar Manila would team up for a fashion extravaganza that served to
underline the latter’s image as a perfect hideaway for its growing celebrity
clientele that goes for the air of mystique that the place provides and the
exotic, relaxing vibe that it evokes.
Owing to its rich heritage, being part of
an international brand franchise, and posh reputation, Buddha-Bar Manila
believes in doing things in style, such as the “Sartorial Nights” concept and
yet it also aims to touch base with clients who belong to a wider variety of
demographics.
As such, Buddha-Bar Manila caters to
everyone who longs for a classy yet fun-filled rendezvous. Aside from its
“Early Bird” and “After Work” offerings, other wonderful packages await beloved
guests. Weekend treats dubbed as “Weekends at the Terrace” can be availed for
only PhP 1,500+ with buffet grilled items, vodka and rum inclusive of
Buddha-Bar DJ from 8 PM to 11 PM. On weekday evenings, on the other hand, “Shisha
Nights” can be enjoyed in our al fresco or terrace at PhP 300 NET per flavor
with 4 mouthpiece with over 16 flavors to choose from (watermelon, orange,
mango, apple, pineapple, lemon with mint, grapes, cola, cocktail, chocolate,

And for an even better treat, Buddha-Bar
Manila is giving away a luxury bag worth PhP 130,000. Every PhP 1,000

last Friday of June 2013.
